Terms of Service

The terms for using our site and our repair services.

These terms apply when you use this website or have a device repaired or a service performed by Quick Cell Repair, 3908 Hastings St, Burnaby, BC V5C 2L4, Canada. Please read them before you book.

1. Agreement

By using this website, booking a repair or leaving a device with us, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

2. Bookings and enquiries

Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is required. A booking made on this website is a request: it is confirmed only when we reply to you or you visit and we accept the device. Times shown in the booking form are in Pacific Time.

Please give accurate contact details and a truthful description of the problem. We may decline a booking, for example if we cannot repair the device or cannot reach you.

3. Diagnostics and quotes

We provide free diagnostics and a price quote before starting work, and we will not start a repair without your approval. A quote is based on what we can see at the time. If we find a further fault once the device is opened, we will contact you with an updated price before going ahead. Prices and repair times on this website are estimates, not guarantees.

4. Your data and your device

Back up your data before you bring the device in. Repairs, especially for water damage, software faults or worn-out storage, can result in data loss, and we cannot be responsible for the loss of data, apps, accounts or settings.

Please remove any passcode, Find My / Google lock or account you do not want us to access, or tell us if we need to unlock the device. You confirm that you own the device or are authorized to have it repaired. We may decline to work on a device we reasonably believe is lost or stolen.

5. Repairs and parts

We use premium quality OEM-grade replacement parts and test the device after the repair. Some devices were already worn, damaged or previously repaired, and a repair can reveal problems that were hidden. Water-damaged devices are repaired on a best-effort basis, and we cannot promise a full recovery.

Non-original parts or earlier repairs by others can affect features such as water resistance, True Tone or a manufacturer's own warranty. We will explain any known effect before we proceed.

6. Repair warranty

Repairs come with a limited warranty for the parts we fit and the service we performed. The warranty period for your repair will be given to you by our staff or on your invoice.

The warranty does not cover damage that happens after the repair, such as drops, cracks, liquid, or tampering or repair by someone else, nor a fault unrelated to the repair we carried out. To make a claim, contact us and bring the device and your proof of repair. If the warranty applies we will repair or replace the covered part or service at no charge.

7. Payment and collecting your device

Payment is due when the repair is done and you collect the device. Please collect it promptly once we tell you it is ready. If we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, we may charge a reasonable storage fee and, as far as the law allows, may deal with an uncollected device to recover our unpaid charges.

8. Prepaid SIM activations

We help customers activate prepaid SIM cards in store. The mobile service, its plans, prices and coverage are provided by the carrier under the carrier's own terms, and activation may need identification and the carrier's approval. We are not responsible for the carrier's service.

9. Brand names and independence

Brand names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are shown only to indicate the devices we repair or the services we offer. Quick Cell Repair is an independent repair shop and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

10. Using this website

You may use this website for your own lawful, personal purposes. You must not misuse it, for example by sending spam or false bookings, trying to break into it, or copying it by automated means other than normal search-engine indexing.

The text, photos, design and logo on this website belong to Quick Cell Repair or its licensors. You may view and share a link to the pages, but may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for them.

11. Limits of our responsibility

The website and the information on it are provided “as is”, and we try to keep them accurate but cannot promise they are always complete or up to date.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for a repair or service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost data, lost income or loss of use of the device. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page applies from that date.
